Description

Edit: She is supposed to look lifeless. Her expression is intentionally kind of blank. I wanted her to look, as if she's just died, but still to have a fading smile on her lips...

Yeah, I know it's weird. XD

I like the general composition and the colour tones a lot. This has been photographed really well, the glow to her skin is stunning, but I think you could have directed the model better. Her pose seems awkward and unnatural in a way that doesn't seem to fit with her expression (which I find quite dreary and unexciting... if it had been more 'fierce' then the pose would perhaps have worked for the awkwardness, or if the pose had been more casual/relaxed then perhaps the expression would have worked- but I find it a little conflicting).
I think this would have worked well as an emotive piece if you'd have instructed a certain emotion for her to portray, as her expression and body language just seems a little unintentionally lifeless.
However, as I said before- visually it has been captured very well; you've clearly learnt the knack to your camera and how to post process! I like the background texture and tones and how it contrasts with her smooth arms, and kudos for keeping the diagonal corner in at the bottom right, I think that balances out the writing to her left well... so good job on the photography side, but directing the subject could do with a little work
I like the contrast too, but would have liked if a few more of the lighter tones were perhaps picked out of her hair in post, as it merges with the top at the bottom and looks a little flat.
When photographing models I like to think of it as similar to the role of a movie director, trying to find a balance between visual impact and direction of the actor(s) to compliment the scene.
